This position is responsible for leading, coordinating, developing, and maintaining an effective Integrated Management System for Charleston EHSS with focus upon policy, programs and procedures, to ensure compliance with US State and Federal codes and regulations and WACKER regulations. Collaborate with site operations to identify opportunities and improvements to reduce incidents and secure business. Support site operations through development of EHSS procedures, policies, and programs and support implementation and auditing. Monitor new and revised regulations, codes, industry and professional standards, internal policies, provide recommendations and lead the implementation of improvements. Your Tasks  Ensure EHSS compliance with all local, State and Federal codes and regulations as well as all WACKER internal requirements. Monitor new and revised regulations, codes, industry and professional standards, and internal policies; effectively communicate changes, recommend necessary actions, and supportimplementation. Foster positive relations with government agencies (TDEC, TOSHA, TSFMO, Bradley County, other). Ensure regulatory permits are obtained as required and operation within permit requirements.  Drive EHSS programs including Zero Accident Program, Wacker Safety Plus, Polysilicon Safety initiative. Provide coordination, training, and management support to Charleston departments in the implementation of these programs.  Provide incident management to minimize impact to Wacker, employees, and community. Ensure appropriate incident investigation, corrective action, and follow up.  Develop, maintain, and continuously improve EHSS programs to achieve site objectives. Provide EHSS support for new processes and/or equipment installations. Promote zero accident/incident culture through frequent presence in the field.  Lead and support internal and external audits/inspections/customer visits.  Collaborate with NCA regional and global WACKER EHSS & IMS functions. Ensure cross-site communication of relevant incidents, programs, initiatives. Evaluate and implement best practices.  Manage operating costs within budget. Your Profile KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED  Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills  Demonstrated ability to work independently or with groups of people / teams in a complex changing environment  Hazard analysis/risk assessment capability  Excellent verbal and written communication with a proven background in producing quality metrics reports  Analytical and research capabilities. Ability to research and properly apply information without direct supervision.  Written and verbal communication and listening skills, including excellent persuasive skills  Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP, including the ability to quickly learn third party software REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years chemical manufacturing experience, min 5 in a PSM covered process. Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience and proven experience managing teams of 10+.  3+ years' experience in the development, implementation, and management of EHSS programs. PREFERRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:  15 years chemical manufacturing experience, with 10 years EHSS management experience. REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.): Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry, Physics, or other Engineering; Master's preferred PREFERRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING PREFERRED FIELDS OF STUDY, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.): Combination of BS and MS in Technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics) and Environmental/Safety, EHSS  #LI-RH1 Reference Code 830984-2-0

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
