Human Resource Manager

Olin Chlor Alkali Products & Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation, has an opening for a Human Resources Manager, located in Charleston, Tennessee. This position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management at the locations in Charleston, TN and Roberta, GA.  The Human Resources Manager serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. The successful Human Resources Manager will act as an employee champion and change agent and will assess and anticipate HR-related needs. The Human Resource Manager will communicate needs proactively within Olin's Human Resources department and business management, and seek to develop and deploy integrated solutions based on this integrated partnership. The Human Resources Manager cultivates partnerships across the Human Resources function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. Essential Job Functions: Management Consultant Conducts meetings with respective business units Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate Facilitate long term culture and talent initiatives aligned to the business agenda Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning Business & Employee Advocate Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs HR Collaborative Operative Effectively Partner with HR SME (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Learning, Performance Management, etc) as required to deliver exceptional service and results to the organization Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-today management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers Community Relations: Promote and enhance awareness of the Olin's community relations in the Charleston, TN area Collaborate with local leaders and employees in aiding local sponsorship, donation and community development programs Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' of HRGeneralistexperience is required; industrial and manufacturing environments preferred; process or chemical plant environments preferred Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws Demonstrate proficiency managing and delivering exceptional guidance on multiple Human Resources discipline areas. Demonstrate ability to successfully identify, and collaborated to effectively and efficiently analyze and resolve problems Demonstrate ability to effectively lead and manage projects and initiatives Ability to draft clear communication plans and paths Recognized and comfortable change agent Reliable self-starter Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Organizational Development or related discipline required PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certifications preferred Master's degreepreferred 6265

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
