Controller Polysilicon Business Division

The Division Controller is the financial lead for the Polysilicon business in the NCA region, directly supporting the Division Vice President in achieving the strategic, operational and financial goals and objectives of the business. As a member of the regional leadership team provide financial guidance and consultation to the broader organization regionally and collaborate with global colleagues to ensure alignment within the business from an operational and strategic standpoint. Your Tasks  Provide business advice and counsel for the Division Vice President and management team through active participation in the leadership team, acting as the business interface with other financial disciplines and actively participating in the development of business operating strategies.  Deliver timely and accurate operational analyses as required by Division, Region and Corporate management including the monthly financial close, forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning processes.  Support/prepare presentations for all levels of management on business performance. Deliver presentations on business results in various settings, including monthly operational meetings.  Establish and maintain cost center planning and analysis of expenses within the business in the NCA region.  Drive continuous improvement efforts within the organization by initiating and/or participating in projects that reduce costs, improve efficiency, increase profits or reduce risks.  Monitor the integrity of the financial statements through the review process and effectively work with the accounting team to ensure accuracy of monthly reporting. Support quarterly and annual audit work.  Provide financial evaluations of capital expenditures, ensuring analyses and approval documents are prepared in accordance with regional and corporate standards. Provide independent view of the merits of individual projects from a broader strategic perspective.  Establishment and continuous encouragement of cost awareness within organization, providing of economic trainings to Cost Center Responsible Your Profile  Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance related filed. MBA preferred.  Minimum five years experience in related role.  Excellent analytical and organizational skills  Proven planning, analysis and decision-making skills  Proficient in MS office suite, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint  Effective communication skills, encompassing verbal, written and presentation skills  Ability to work across all functions and levels of the organization in order to ensure proper controls, support change initiatives and drive business results  Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to create and sustain a good global network within the Wacker organization to effectively align regional actions with global division goals  Knowledge of key markets and applications for products sold, as well as awareness of the supplier and competitor landscape  Knowledge of accounting and performance management including financial reporting, analytical methods and product costing 885714-2-0

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
