Project Engineer

This position provides project engineering and project management services in the field of electrical, instrumentation and controls engineering related to capital investment projects not only at the Wacker Polysilicon plant in Charleston, TN but also for other Wacker sites in North America. Your Tasks  Target and priority set project execution  Coordinate, control and inform on: work processes, interfaces, specialist departments, contractors, resources (personnel, equipment, internal legwork)  Estimate, review, and edit the effects in terms of the business objectives  Steer, assess and control of: technical results, compliance with legal and internal guidelines and regulations, the implementation of IMS (Integrated Management System)  Process and implement legal, economic, safety and environmental related matters  Execute pre-engineering, concepts, studies, alternatives, strategies  Process optimization, simulation, risk assessment  Manage overall project, ie, process- / system planning, design, specification, calculation, cost estimates, expenditure planning, project appropriation request, scheduling, permit / regulatory planning, safety, quality and regulatory reviews, subcontracting, procurement, construction management, commissioning support, plant handover, performance test, acceptance, rejection handling  Other tasks and duties as assigned to support the engineering and maintenance organization Your Profile Education and Experience:  Bachelor's degree in the field of instrumentation & control, electrical or chemical engineering  5 - 8 years of experience related to instrumentation and process control in a project, operations and/or maintenance environment  Experience with small - medium capital projects in a chemical plant or refinery environment ispreferred  Project management experience is beneficial  Registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Tennessee is desired but not obligatory  Expertise in the area of high and medium voltage substations, switchgear and feeder network, and electrical infrastructure from high voltage through medium and low voltage applications  Expertise in the areas of field instrumentation, calibration, digital and analog I/O, communication and networking, HMI/MMI, PLC and/or DCS  Expertise in Electrical design  Expertise in P&ID design  Expertise in life-safety systems and automated material handling applications is sought  Strong communication and multi-tasking skills  Able to perform and succeed in an environment of schedule and cost pressure  Capable of professionally dealing with changing priorities and scope requirements  #LI-RH1 843860-2-0

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
