At our Charleston site, we are currently looking for a Cost Excellence and Process Efficiency Manager to join our growing team. Job Responsibilities The Cost Excellence and Process Efficiency Manager is responsible for initiating and managing relevant productivity and cost improvement projects focused on cost reduction, capacity increase, and reduction of consumptions while providing the responsible management teams with status updates. Management of the productivity and cost improvement projects will include coordination and prioritization assessment among the departments executing the projects, such as the various leadership teams, engineers, and specialists. The position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the cost roadmap, actively monitoring and reporting progress, as well as forecasting performance. Additionally, this position would continue to develop and drive local and global collaboration among all polysilicon sites to provide a cohesive cost and productivity strategy at the CHA site including considerations of production planning and quality requirements. Program Management & Technical Responsibilities Initiate, lead, and participate in BD-P productivity and cost improvement projects to meet or exceed the organizational targets. Align and collaboratively organize the site productivity, process development, operations, engineering, and business planning priorities with the global cost excellence managers. Generate monthly cost analysis reports and facilitate cost review meetings with coordination and closure of identified action items for CHA site and BD-P. Leads CHA Polysilicon Cost Roadmap and WOS activities (productivity meetings, brainstorming, etc.). Coach CHA BD-P project leaders on implementation of projects. Facilitate Process-/Workstep-/Materialflow-Analysis to optimize and lean processes in a cost-efficient way with support of the process experts Manage and establish LEAN workflow and process analyses including leading Kaizen events. Conduct and participate in planning tasks and apply other quantitative methods to evaluate improvement opportunities. Administrative Responsibilities Supervises the division s productivity system (value leverage, control tickets, status charts). Responsible for documenting efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes. Responsible for reporting site cost related KPIs. Prepare and provide operational area SAP BO Reports and Utility Reporting (WEIS) documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technical, Supply Chain or Chemical field required, advanced degree preferred. LEAN six sigma green belt required, black belt preferred. Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a manufacturing facility Minimum 5 years of professional experience with cost analysis and lean manufacturing concepts. Extensive computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Excel, PC software, especially material requirements planning software) Knowledge of polysilicon chemical processing preferred Demonstrated technical competency in the areas of safety, quality, and process improvement Knowledge of the matrix organization is preferred Excellent project- and time management skills, presentation, communication, and teamwork skills. Several years of experience in deployment of modern methods of quantitative management, in the application of methods and in independent project handling Flexibility and ability to work under pressure; demonstrate a can-do attitude Ability to manage complex interfaces between organizations with conflicting priorities to achieve overall improvement. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
